Yesterday morning Abby was sipping her apple juice and she commented that it was cold from being in the refrigerator. Then she said "Mommy, how does the refrigerator make it cold?" Honestly, is this child 2 or 6? One day very soon she is going to surpass me in the brains department.
I was trying to think of a fun story about little elves who live in the fridge and build tiny igloos to keep our food and drinks cold, but just then David came downstairs and explained that a special machine was inside that keeps our food cold, just like our car has a special machine that makes it run. Much better and more appropriate!
